Download
The new version of the node program can be downloaded here: https://github.com/Conflux-Chain/conflux-rust/releases/tag/v3.0.1
I am a node operator/miner, what do I need to do?
- If you update your node before the epoch number reaches 129680000 (expected on September 1st), you need to pause the node, replace the executable file named “Conflux” in the run directory of the original node program with the Conflux v3.0.1 node program’s Conflux executable file, and then restart it. It is recommended that running nodes complete the upgrade within 2 days.
- If you update the node after the epoch number reaches 129680000 (expected on September 1st), you will need to delete all data and resynchronize.
- If you want to start a new node, you can download the latest version of Conflux v3.0.1 and run it.
Can I directly upgrade to v3.0.1 if I haven’t upgraded to v3.0.0 yet?
Sure, simply upgrade to v3.0.1 according to the method described in this announcement.
What would happen if the node is not upgraded and does not participate in this upgrade?
If a node has not been upgraded to the latest version, it will be incompatible with the upgraded Conflux protocol and unable to interact with the latest Conflux network properly (such as synchronizing blocks, mining, etc.).
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely thank the Conflux community and all the developers of the Conflux ecosystem for their efforts, thinking, and contributions, which have brought a better tomorrow for Conflux.
